Establecer la utilidad de realizar angio-TC,
en la fase aguda de una hemorragia intracerebral espontánea.
Revisión del tema
La hemorragia intracerebral espontánea (HIE) se define como la hemorragia cerebral en ausencia de traumatismo.
Es la forma con mayor mortalidad e incapacidad del accidente cerebrovascular.
La mortalidad al mes es de 30% -50%,
y la mitad de estas muertes se producen dentro de la primeras 48 horas.
Conclusiones
Los hallazgos en el Angio-TC de pacientes que presentan HIE determinan la actitud terapéutica (control de la presión arterial,
la corrección de coagulopatías o cirugía) y debe ser considerado como parte inicial del algoritmo diagnostico.
La detección de spot sign mediante angio-TC es un importante y fiable marcador de expansión del hematoma agudo,
así como un indicador de peor pronóstico neurológico.
