The using of possibilities contrast-enhanced ultrasound to determine the effectiveness of superselective embolization of arteries prostate at it's benign hyperplasia. [5-8]

We made an operations on 12 patients with adenoma of the prostate. Preliminary specification of anatomic way of the arteries was made by MSCT (CT "Aquillion" - 256)fig1,3. Indications were: the volume of the prostate more than 40 cm3, IPSS > 18 and/or QoL> 3 and/or Qmax < 12 mL/s and/or Acute urinary retention, PSA < 4 ng/ml. The embolization was made by embozene microspheres d=400 nm. In one case was used ultrosound contrast SonoVeu in ultrosound equipment "EPIQ".fig 2,4, 5

In the postoperative period the volume of the prostate decreased on 40%, Qmax=17 mL/s, IPSS = 21± 4.6, the quility of erectile function became better. Ultrosound contrast SonoVeu is demonstrated no signal is the adenomatous nodes.[1-4] fig.6-8

Ultrosound contrast agent SonoVeu takes opportunity to determine the effectiveness of superselective embolization of arteries prostate at it's benign hyperplasia in viiew of absence of contrast accumulation in adenomatous nodes.
