Purpose
To evaluate the role of CT guided spinal injections in management of chronic low back pain
Methods and materials
Research Ethics Committee approval and informed consent were obtained from all patients after explanation of the procedures,
their benefits and possible risks and how we overcome these risks..
Between January 2014 to January 2015 one hundred and twenty patients were included in this study,
( 74 male and 46 female ) aged between 21 – 69 years with a mean age of 41.6 years.
Their weight ranged from 65 to 100Kg with mean 77.45 Kg.

Results
Our study included 120 patients with chronic low back pain on conservative treatment for more than 6 months.
Their mean age was 49 years.
Seventy two ( 60% ) were female while forty eight (40) % were male.
All patients had pain for a period ranged from 2 to 14 years and all used analgesics for at least 12 months.

Conclusion
Low back pain is one of the most frequently reported symptoms in the industrialized world (9).
About two-thirds of the population suffers from back pain at some point of time during their life span (10) and this symptom incapacitates 20% of them for long periods (>4 weeks) (11).
