Acute pelvic pain is a common symptom in the emergency department, usually caused by gynecologic or urologic conditions. An accurate and quick diagnosis is pivotal for the appropriate management. Imaging assessment is an essential step on this conditions and the patients are frequently investigated by ultrasound (US) and computed tomography (CT).
