Background/introduction
Quality and safety activities are among the top priorities of the International Society of Radiology (ISR).
The ISR’s mission is 'to facilitate the global endeavours of its member organisations to improve patient care and population health through medical imaging'.
Therefore,
the ISR Quality and Safety Alliance (ISRQSA) was established in November 2016,
replacing the International Commission on Radiological Quality and Safety (ICRQS).
Guy Frija (France,
Chair of EuroSafe Imaging) and Donald Frush (USA,
Chair of Image Gently) act as co-chairs of the ISRQSA.
