Conclusion

This new application of pre-existing techniques is useful for radiologists in training and for who wants to approach musculoskeletal anatomy learning both US and MRI at the same time. A thorough knowledge of the anatomy is important to enable the musculoskeletal radiologist to make an accurate and useful diagnosis of wrist’s pathologies.

Furthermore, US-MRI fusion imaging could be a promising technique particularly in interventional procedures.
