Moreover than just visualizing the ocular globe and its pathology when any condition avoids an adequate ophtalmoscopy study, radiologists can meaningfully contribute to the diagnostic process of a wide range of ocular pathologies performing some quick, simple and affordable steps in ocular ultrasonography studies.

Radiologists should be able to perform ocular ultrasonography studies with the aforementioned steps and interpet the correspondent findings with the purpose of accurately guiding the diagnostic assessment or even reaching the final diagnosis.
