Objectives
In our study,
we discuss and illustrate the spectrum of radiologic manifestations of pulmonary tuberculosis
Materials and Methods
Retrospective study
A serie of 178 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis
Collected in our department between 1996 and 2011
Our Study was based on 135 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis (data of the other 33 patients were not available)
Patients were clinically examined,
biological tests were done in all cases.
Chest Radiography was performed in all patients
Chest computed tomography (CT) was performed occasionally in 22 cases (16.3%) for clarifying diagnostic confusion
Results
Clinical and biological characteristics:
Age of our patients: between 17 and 89 years with a mean of 42 years
There were 110 (81%) men and 25 (19%) women
87 (64,
5%) of our patients were without medical history

Reveling symptoms were: cough (96 cases) (71%),
Deterioration of general condition (63 cases)(46.6%),
expectoration (51 cases) (37,7%),
fever (49 cases) (36.2%),
hemoptysis (41 cases) (30.3%),
dyspnea (17 cases) (12.5%). In two (1,

malaise and weight loss.
The fever is not very high and is usually well tolerated.
Other common clinical features are cough,
