Background/Introduction
Digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) is a diagnosis modality improving breast cancer detection mainly in the case of tumor masses developed in dense breasts (1,
2,
3,
4).
Large discrepancies between DBT systems imply the definition of dose and image quality tests for acceptance and during lifetime of DBT equipments to guarantee an accurate and secure diagnosis.

Conclusion and Recommendations
In this study,
we tested a new clinical routine QC protocol declined from the EUREF protocol.
The preliminary clinical tests confirm its performances associated to a dedicated breast phantom to verify image quality in DBT over the time.
An image processing software for automatically extracting these image parameters will be necessary to reduce analysis time (time for manual analysis is about 1h).
