Aims and objectives
Introtuction: Creeping fat is a characteristic imaging findings in Crohn’s disease.
In previous literature,
visceral fat(VF)was used to reflect fat hyperplasia objectively,
the ratio of visceral fat to subcutaneous fat(SF) is related to the degree of inflammation of CD,
intestinal fat may be an important index of intestinal inflammation in patients with CD.
However,
the content and distribution of body fat in Europeans and Americans are different from those in Asians.
Moreover,
the VF in previous literature included intra-peritoneal fat(IPF) and retro-peritoneal fat(RPF),
IPF may be more likely to reflect changes in abdominal fat in CD patients.
Few studies have compared the relationship between quantitative fat parameters and CD.
Objectives: To explore the feasibility of quantitative fat parameters in evaluating activity and curative effect in crohn’s disease.
