Background
Changes in use of radiological procedures and continuous technological development are two factors increasing the pressure on radiologists and radiology [1].
Thus,
there is a need for training radiographers in new skills in order to meet challenge in lack of radiologists.
Studies conclude that advanced radiographers can do image interpreting and reporting qualitatively as good as radiologists and collaboration between the two professions’ improve accuracy.
[2,

Internationally there is a recommendation for collaboration and role expansion between radiologists and radiographers [5].
This situation calls for post-graduate courses for radiographers in role expansion.
In order to combine work and further education the course needs to be flexible.
Blended learning courses such these are demanding to develop and run,
therefore collaboration between institutions are necessary [6].
Design and development of online based courses benefit from being team-based as this is an iterative process and includes a balance between pedagogy and technology [7].
