Findings and procedure details
A 45 ECTS post-graduated course are developed as a blended learning course.
It is a combined course with online and on campus activities in addition to clinical training.
Table 1,shows an overview of the three semester blended learning courses.
Six post-graduate students has undergone the course,
two male and four female.
All the students was experienced radiographers.
The students were employed at different hospitals in Norway.
The hospitals provided a mentor to supervise the student.
Training in interpreting images should at least be for 12 hours a week.
HiOA,
NTNU and HSN collaborated on economic and professional aspects in all parts of the implementation; get funding,
develop courses and implementation.
This was pioneer work,
being the first course in interpreting and reporting skeletal x-rays for radiographers and the first course developed in collaboration between these three institutions.
Challenges as minimal support from radiologists,
building a new digital learning platform and administrational issues has occurred.
Figure 3,
explain the project organisation for funding,
development and implementation of the course.
