Total 80 subjects were taken of which 6 were discarded. Volumetric analysis of 74 subjects were performed.
Subset A and B had total 39 and 35 subjests respectively (Fig.2).
Linear regression between age (40-90) and age expected atrophy percentage had a negative slope of - 6.00 +- 2.17 with p-value < 0.0001 and 95% confidence interval (Fig.1).
Between groups it was observed that subset A had higher atrophic changes than subset B even after normalization of brain volumes with estimated intracranial volumes(eICV) and age (Fig.3 & 4).
The two tailed test P value between subsets was < 0.05.
