Vascular access is of vital importance in the treatment of renal replacement,
both for being able to condition the quality of dialysis and for deriving from it a high morbidity and costs.
The use of Color Doppler ultrasound allows not only the monitoring of the flow,
but also the immediate diagnosis of pathology and its level of therapeutic urgency.
It's the first technique per image,
with a relevant role in the diagnosis and monitoring of these patients,
being a non-invasive test and without delays in its performance,
which allows control of maturation,
helps puncture difficult leading to therapeutic control early leading to a high survival rate of the AVF,
allowing to avoid unnecessary aggressive tests and delays in urgent pathology.
