Results
In both adult and pediatric patients, there was a weak and statistically unreliable correlation between ADC-DWIBS and ADC-DWI (r=0.274, p=0.13 in adults and r=0.215, p=0.15 in children).
The correlation between DWI-ADC and MaRIA index was moderate negative and statistically reliable in both adults in children (r=-0.5, p<0.001) whereas the correlation between DWIBS-ADC and MaRIA index was weak and statistically unreliable in adults (r=0.1; p=0.71) and moderate negative and statistically reliable in children (r=-0.4; p=0.005).
The correlation between DWI-based Clermont score and MaRIA index was strong and statistically reliable in adults (r=0.9, p<0.001) and perfect and statistically reliable in children (r=1, p<0.001) whereas the correlation between the DWIBS-based Clermont score and MaRIA index was good and statistically reliable in adults (r=0.6, p<0.001), and moderate and statistically reliable in children (r=0.5; p<0.001).
