Results
Qualitative Analysis :
At 2 years, 7 patients qualitatively showed T2 hyperintensity (PSC) and 2 did not. At 5-years, 6 patients qualitatively showed PSC since the 2-year scan while 3 did not.
Quantitative Analysis :
When analysed at different time points after radiation, different texture features showed a significant difference between the 2 groups as shown in Fig 4, 5, and 6.
There was no significant difference between feature values at time points C and E in 2-year PSC group and at time points B, C and E in the 5-year PSC group.
On cumulative radiomic analysis at all time points a statistically significant difference (p<0.05) was shown by all 16 primary texture features between 2-year with and without the PSC group (Fig 5). In the 5-year with and without PSC groups, the difference was shown by all 15 features except kurtosis when analysed cumulatively at all time points together (Fig 6).
Results of ROC analysis showed that 9 texture features had an area under the curve (AUC) value >0.7 (Fig 7 and 8).
For the 5-year PSC group, 12 features showed AUC>0.7 (Fig 9 ,10).
For both groups, only 2 features (skewness and uniformity) showed AUC <0.5.
