Learning objectives

1. Utilization of bariatric surgery has been steadily increasing since the early 2000s. As more surgeries are performed, radiologists should become familiar with complications that arise acutely and remotely from the initial surgery.

2. Many complications of bariatric surgery are best demonstrated fluoroscopically. Understanding fluoroscopic imaging appearance is important in caring for this patient population.
