There were no differences between coronary sinus visualization before and after CE.
However according to the results better morphometric evaluation and distal flow visualization of major veins was obtained when the sequences performed after CE.
Comparision of the groups: the CS orifice diameter in the first group was 9.26 ± 1.32mm; in the second group 21.7 ± 5.3mm.
The MCV diameter in the first group was 3.45 ± 0.66mm,
in the second group – 7.95 ± 1.75mm.
PVLV diameter in the first group was 2.2 ± 0.26mm,
in the second group – 5.5 ± 0.4 mm.
The diameter of the AIV in the first group was 2.85 ± 0.36mm,
in the second group – 6.3 ± 0.1mm.
Significant differences identified between the size of the CS and the main veins of the first and second groups (p> 0,05).
The average length of the CS up to the confluence of the posterior interventricular vein in the first group was 7.87 ± 1.97mm,
in the second group - 24±1.1mm.
To describe the spatial arrangement of the CS,
were measured the angles of its confluence.
Oblique sagittal angle in the plane,
in releation to inter atrial septum,
in the first group was 109,65 ± 11,45º,
in the second group- 113.75 ± 11.75º.
The angle in the axial plane in the first group was 67.28 ± 10.44 °,
in the second
