Methods and Materials
27 patients fulfilling the American College of Rheumatology criteria and/or LeRoy’s classification criteria for the diagnosis of SSc were enrolled in this study. Patient’s MRSSs,
duration of disease since first Raynaud’s phenomenon/non-Raynaud’s phenomenon and cardiac MRI result were evaluated for any connection.
Magnetic Resonans Imaging
LE cardiac MRI performed to all patients.
MRI studies were obtained on a 1.5 T clinical system (Gyroscan Achieva,
LE cardiac MRI protocol was performed using inversion-recovery-prepared,
gradient-echo pulse sequence
Statistical analysis was performed by using the software SPSS 15.
