The ESR Working Group on Imaging Referral Guidelines (IRG WG) was established at ECR 2016 as part of the ESR's Quality,
Safety and Standards Committee (QSSC),
charged with maintaining the ESR's referral guidelines which are the content of the ESR iGuide clinical decision support (CDS) system.
The WG works with the American College of Radiology's (ACR) Rapid Response Team (RRT) to develop clinical decision support content based on the ACR Appropriateness Criteria.
The WG recently completed the latest review and adaptation round of ACR content at the beginning of 2018,
releasing a new ESR content version for ESR iGuide.
The ESR iGuide content is grouped into 10 topic areas,
each headed by a dedicated expert within the IRG WG.
The purpose of this poster is to provide an overview of the ESR iGuide content development process,
statistics on the differences between ESR and ACR content,
and the changes the ESR has made.
