The European Alliance for Medical Radiation Protection Research (EURAMED) was established as a non-profit organisation in October 2017 by five medical associations involved in the application of ionising radiation in medicine – the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM), the European Federation of Organisations for Medical Physics (EFOMP), the European Federation of Radiographer Societies (EFRS), the European Society of Radiology (ESR), and the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO). Results or findings
1. EURAMED structure
EURAMED is managed through an Executive Board in which all founding members are represented. The president of the organisation is first prepared for her/his duties in a two-years president-elect function. After two years being president, she/he will remain for two additional years as past president in the Executive Board, to guarantee an efficient transition of knowledge and network contacts.

Conclusion
EURAMED has managed to join forces in medical radiation protection research and collaborated in MEENAS to secure European funding for future research projects in the field.
