CONCLUSIÓN:
La ecografía torácica es una técnica útil en la valoración del grado de infiltración de la pleura visceral y parietal,
con unos valores de sensibilidad y especificidad del 100% en nuestro estudio.
La exploración ecográfica de las neoplasias pulmonares periféricas puede permitir una estadificación más precisa en aquellos pacientes tributarios de tratamientos no quirúrgicos y,
además, permite una mejor planificación de la cirugía indicando resecciones en bloque en aquellos pacientes con infiltración de pleura parietal.
