En pacientes con trasplante hepático,
el diagnóstico de neuroma de amputación debe tenerse en cuenta cuando aparezcan estenosis de las anastomosis biliar o vasculares,
estén asociadas o no a nódulo o masa y,
así mismo,
incluirlo en el diagnóstico diferencial de masas o tejidos de partes blandas que afecten a la zona del hilio hepático.
