La RM de mama es una técnica diagnóstica con elevada sensibilidad y alto valor predictivo negativo,
y debería considerarse su empleo para la evaluación de las pacientes con secreción uniorificial.
El valor predictivo positivo de la RM es superior al de la galactografía para definir con precisión la extensión y localización de la patología intraductaductal e identificar lesiones múltiples.
Un resultado negativo en la RM podría permitirnos mantener una conducta expectante,
sin necesidad de realizar pruebas diagnósticas adicionales.
