El elastofibroma dorsi es una tumoración benigna común que se localiza en el polo inferior de la escápula.
En numerosas ocasiones el diagnóstico es casual,
siendo importante saber reconocerlo para establecer el diagnóstico.
La ecografía y el TC permiten realizar una primera aproximación al estudio de la lesión,
siendo la RM la técnica radiológica que mejor valora la localización,
tamaño,
composición y relación estructural con los tejidos adyacentes.
