Las manifestaciones clínicas de las distintas malformaciones congénitas de las vías aéreas en adultos pueden simular una patología respiratoria o incluso ser la causa de esta.
El adecuado conocimiento de las manifestaciones clínicas y radiológicas de dichas condiciones es esencial para lograr un diagnóstico preciso.
La identificación de variantes y anomalías bronquiales,
con su consecuente mención en el informe radiológico,
presenta importantes implicaciones en el manejo clínico y terapéutico del paciente, aportando conocimientos fundamentales para la adecuada realización de procedimientos como broncoscopia,
intubación orotraqueal o intervenciones quirúrgicas. [Fig. 2].
