Conclusion

The ratio of plaque surface to tumour apex dose varies strongly with tumour height and more weakly with plaque type. At a distance of 7 mm, it is 7.97-13.03 for the different plaque types.

When prescribing 500 Gy to the plaque surface, the tumour apex doses were found to vary by a factor of 10 from 50.3-456.7 Gy.
