Results
65 patients were studied with echocardiography (ECHO) and cardiac computed tomography (CT).
ECHO and CT had a concordance of 60% (40 cases).
And 40% of non concordance.
Of that 60%,
35.9% (14 cases) both studies agreed that the study is normal.
48.7% (19 cases) that are total anomalous pulmonary venous connection,
10% (4 cases) parcial anomalous venous connection,
5% (2 cases) mixed anomalous venous connection,
2.5% (1 case) scimitar syndrome.
Of that 40%,
64% (17 cases) ECHO reported an normal study and TC reported parcial anomalous venous connection,
8% (2 cases) ECHO normal and TC mixed anomalous venou connection,
8% (2 cases) ECHO couldn´t visualized pulmonary veins and CT Normal,
(10 cases),
8% (2 cases) ECHO couldn´t visualized pulmonary veins and CT mixed anomaous pulmonary venous connection,
4% (1 case) ECHO total anomalous venous connection snd CT Normal,
4% (1 case) anomalous drainage and CT Normal,
4% (1 case) ECHO cor triatriatum and CT total anomalous venous connection.
27 patient underwent to surgery,
22 of group of concordance and 5 of th group of non concordanc.
Surgery and TC findings has 100% of concordance.
And ECHO has 81.4% of concordance whith surgery findings.
