Results
In 166 patient non-ischemic pattern or absence of enhancement was reported and 164 (98.8%) of those showed no CAD.
Case 1: Female,
58 years,
effort dyspnea (NYHA II) from 3 month,
no angina, no history of cardiac and non cardiac disease.
On the cine-images is shown a LV dysfunction (Fig.
1),
with a non ischemic pattern of DE (Fig.
2) and no-CAD on the coronary angiography (Fig.
3).
Post-ischemic pattern was reported in 128 patients,
125 (97.7%) of those presenting CAD.
Case 2: male,
53 years, with recent onset of effort dispnea (NYHA II),
no angina,
no risk factors,
no history of cardiac and non cardiac disease.
It is showed a regional dysfunction of the LV (lateral wall of the basal and medial levels) on the cine-images (Fig.
4),
associated with a post-ischemic pattern on the DE images (Fig.
5) and the confirmation of CAD at the coronary angiography (Fig.
6).
In 6 patients was reported a mixed-pattern (post-ischemic + non-ischemic pattern).
All patients with absence of enhancement showed no-CAD at the coronary angiography.
Case 3: male,
48 years,
no dyspnea,
no angina,
dyslipidemia,
no history of cardiac and non cardiac disease.
Absence of enhancement on the DE images (Fig.
7) and no-CAD on the coronary angiography(Fig.
8).
DE sensitivity in predict CAD was 98.4%,
specificity was 98.2%.
Negative predictive value was 98.8%.
