Conclusion
Meningiomas are rare tumors in young adults,
and some data suggest that meningiomas arising in younger adults are more aggressive.
Imaging studies provide signs which predict or correlate with biologic behavior / grade,
such as calcification,
density / MR sign,
heterogeneous pattern of enhancement (cysts / tumoral necrosis),
irregular shape/ brain invasion,
edema expression ( volume and higher grade),
hyperostosis / osteolysis.
Data found were in agreement with the literature with no female-to-male prevalence and the atypical forms representing one third of the total. There were no calcification or hyperostosis in studied cases and no relation between edema and histologic grade.
In grade III case hypodensity in CT and the extensive vascularization were suggestive aspects.
No relapses in this series was found until now.
