Methods and materials
The study was carried out at SSIMS & RC,
Davangere,
India with ethical clearance from the ethical committee of the above mentioned institution.
Study design: Retrospective study.
50 cases of MR images with orbital pathologies were reviewed.
MR images depicting the pathologies of orbit,
stored in InstaRISPACS system during the period of 2017 March to 2018 April were retrospectively reviewed and data were retrieved.
All images presented in this article were obtained using GE 1.5T MRI scanner.
Inclusion Criteria:-
Patients of all age groups were included in the study.
Patients referred to the department of radiology for evaluation of the orbital pathologies where ophthalmoscopy and slit lamp examination failed.
Exclusion Criteria:-
Patients with metallic implants,
cardiac pacemakers,
cochlear implants.
Patients who are claustrophobic.
Patients who are unwilling for imaging.
