A wide spectrum of hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases can lead to biliary strictures such as primary sclerosis cholangitis,
choledocholithiasis,
pancreatic adenocarcinoma,
and gallbladder carcinoma.
MRI characteristic of malignant features will be reviewed.
MRI protocol and advantages over other modalities will be described.
The role of PCT in visualizing exquisite detail of biliary anatomy and providing opportunities for intervention will be reviewed.
