Conclusion

Breast cancer detection is significantly better on MRI enhanced with 0.1 mmol/kg BW gadobenate dimeglumine compared with mammography, ultrasound and MRI enhanced with 0.1 mmol/kg BW gadopentetate dimeglumine.

The improved detection of cancer nodules can be ascribed to the higher R1 relaxivity of gadobenate dimeglumine which enables improved lesion visualization and better depiction of malignant morphology.
