Purpose

Background: Acute traumatic rupture of thoracic aorta is an life threatening situation. The presence of severe associated injuries many times precludes conventional surgery. The aim of this study was to assess the complications and the long term survival of Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR) in acute traumatic rupture.
