True negative (TN):
Patients that were negative for IPD on US or MR and came negative intraoperatively.
False Positives (FP):
Patients that were positive for IPD on US or MR and came negative intraoperatively.
False Negatives (FN):
Patients that were negative for IPD on US or MR and came positive intraoperatively.
US showed:
TP = 20 TN = 1 FP = 3 FN= 2
MR showed:
TP = 18 TN = 5 FP = 1 FN = 4
The results depicting various statistical parameters for US and MRI as shown in the figure showed US have sensitivity and specificity of 90.91% and 16.67% compared to MR 81.82% and 83.33%.
The positive predictive value for US and MR is 80% and 94.74%.
