Methods and materials
This study includes medical records of 10 patients with soft tissue sarcomas of the head and neck region.
The cases were collected over a period of 7 years from December 2010 to December 2017 and retrospectively reviewed through the Picture Archiving And Communicating System (PACS) of the radiology department of Salah Azaiez institute.
The search key words were “sarcomas”,
“Liposarcomas”,
"Fibrosarcomas”,
“Metastases”.
Two scan and one MRI machines were used.
Helical CT scans were performed before and after intravenous contrast agent administration using a power injector (80 to 120 at a rate of 4 ml/s).
The following scanning parameters were used: thickness 1 mm,
reconstruction interval 1 mm.
CT scans and MRI were reviewed.
We recorded for each patient the clinical signs available on medical file;
