Aims and objectives
Multipurpose analysis of the characteristics of the genetic profile,
taking into account the type of coronary artery (CA) lesions among people of the Uzbek population with a stable (SIHD) and unstable (UIHD) form of the ischemic heart disease (IHD).
Methods and materials
308 patients with IHD and 50 without coronary artery pathology (control group) were examined at an average age of 59.6±0.61 years old.
The volume MDCT coronary angiography is used on a 640-slice CT.
For in-depth analysis of the most significant genetic indicators in the development of IHD,
150 patients of Uzbek ethno-accessories were selected.
Results
Among the unstable form of IHD patients calcification of CA (p=0.04) were much less frequent,
they had low values of Calcium Score (CS) (p=0.034) and soft tissue plaques were detected more often (p=0.005).
Genetic analysis by VDR showed that allele A was significantly more frequent among the patients with high CS values (> 400) (OR=2.09) than the allele G (OR=0,48,
p=0,05).
A comparative analysis of the distribution of VDR genotypes among patients with stable and unstable angina showed following differences: genotypes A/G and A/A-OR=6.82 and...
Conclusion
Among people of the Uzbek population,
VDR allele A was significantly more likely (OR=0.48,
p=0.05) in patients with high Calcium Score values (> 400) (OR=2.09).
Soft-tissue plaque are predictors of IHD unstable form.
