Aims and objectives
Acetabular labral tears can not only cause pain in the hip or groin area,
but also result in articular cartilage degeneration and early-onset osteoarthrosis .
Early diagnosis and treatment are important.
MR examination is the preferred imaging method for diagnosing acetabular labral tears,
but preoperative diagnosis with conventional MR is still not satisfying .
The diagnostic performance of MR arthrography (MRA) appears to be superior to conventional MR at 3.0T in detecting labral tears [1,2].
The aim of this study was to explore the value of 3.0T hip MRA in diagnosis of acetabular labral tears.
