Results
Descriptive statistics were performed by reporting answers frequency an N, percentage and median, as appropriate.

66 survey were collected. Patients were all females, median age was 56 (range: 20-92) Fig. 3 ; 60% were married, 15% singles, 11% divorced, 5% widows, 9% did not declared their marital status.

Almost all the patients declared a good understanding of the Italian language, 13.6% were non-native Italian (mainly German mother tongue).
Twenty-eight (43%) patients reported third-level education, 45% declared to have a secondary school education.
59 patients(91%) indicated their general practitioner as the doctor with major confidence, the gynecologist was indicated as the second doctor with major confidence from 36 women(75%).
The most preferred patients’ medical professional (first choice) to receive the biopsy result was the general practitioner or the gynecologist (together 45% of all preferences). One patient out of three indicated the radiologist who performed the procedure. Fig. 4

The radiologist was indicated as the second choice by 92% of women givin two choices(12)
Seventy-one percent of patients preferred to meet the doctor in person, while 26% preferred a phone call, and 3% preferred to be notified via email.
Most women (48) wish to receive their biopsy result on time , on top of making questions and trust the doctor to communicate the result.
