In our study, coronary angiographies were performed by using a digital ionizing radiation system (Allura Xper FD10 monoplane flat detector panel with three fields of magnification (15,20,25cm diagonal square), double filter and a standard image acquisition program mode at 15 frames per second. The control system for this equipment automatically sets the ionizing radiation exposure parameters. All studies performed by the same cardiologist, to keep a standard protocol, such as the projections which were used for the right coronary artery and the left coronary arteries. [Table1]

In this study, body weight, fluoroscopy time, AK and KAP were detracted by medical departmental data.
Among patients who were submitted to coronary examination from June 2018 to August 2019, 120 subjects have met eligibility criteria for this study. They were divided into two equal groups according to their median body weight (80.5Kg), one below or equal to eighty kilograms (group A) and one above eighty kilograms (group B).
The radiation exposure of the patients is measured with the Air Kerma(AK) which can be thought of as the number of individual x-ray photons per unit area and Kerma Area Product(KAP) which provides an indication of the total amount of radiation used in an examination. [9] Patients’ radiation exposure patterns are recorded automatically. The correlations between body weight and KAP were analyzed using linear regressions.
