Background

This educational poster includes 14 patients, admitted to the Emergency Department of Clinical Emergency County Hospital Brașov, Romania, between 01.01.2020 - 07.10.2022, mainly for acute abdominal pain suggestive for large bowel obstruction, who had performed a CT scan on admission (using different scanning protocols including unenhanced, arterial and venous phase) and CT acquisitions showed the appearance of various forms of sigmoid volvulus.
