Background
The usefulness of mnemonics is much appreciated by medical students and doctors,
to provide a simple,
yet funny and effective,
way to remember key information on a number of subjects.
Mnemonics trigger a sense of memory and can serve as a first basic framework to organize and consolidate our understanding of complex matters,
frequently not easy to assimilate.
Of special note,
mnemonics are meant to be concise and not usually expected to provide a full list of elements or differential diagnosis.
In this sense,
mnemonics a gain special importance in MSK radiology with its complex and frequent long lists of differential diagnosis and anatomical structures.
