X-ray pelvimentry is typically performed for the diagnosis of the cephalopelvic disprosion (CPD) but have problem of scanning position and fetal exposure dose.
Recently a new computed tomography (CT) reconstruction “deep learning based reconstruction (DLR) in ultra-low dose is developed.
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the utility of the CT pelvimentry by comparing accurate measurements of pelvic size and fetal dose using the CT pelvimentry (DLR) and the traditional X-P pelvimentry.
Description of activity and work performed
The pelvic phantom and the thimble camber was used to calculate of fetal dose.
We obtained X-P pelvimentry dose from measurement the entranced mother dose less than a value of J-RIME of DRLs2015, We determined a central of pelvic phantom dose is a fetal dose using it in X-P pelvimentry study.
We obtained fetal dose from measurement the central pelvic phantom dose using ultra low dose, 10mA.
Three method (SD8, SD30 and ultra-low dose) scanned evaluation CT phantom for a value of measurement is correct...
Conclusion and recommendations
A fetal dose was decreased in 65% comparison CT pelvimentry with X-P pelvimentry, as high contrast bone image obtain is enough in CT pelvimentry study.
Accuracy a value of fetal head diameter and obstetric conjugate were obtained by reduction noise and high resolution with DLR.
A rate of magnification fetal head and pelvis were resolved in Martius view.
We expect a new method of CT pelvimentry (DLR) subsutitute for X-P pelvimentry.
