This educational poster will present many of the mnemonics used in MusculoSKeletal (MSK) imaging,
usually in a form of an acronym or acrostic.
The usefulness of mnemonics is much appreciated by medical students and doctors,
to provide a simple,
yet funny and effective,
way to remember key information on anumber of subjects.
Mnemonics trigger a sense of memory and can serve as a first basic framework to organize and consolidate our understanding of complex matters,
frequently not easyto assimilate.
Of special note,
mnemonics are meant to be concise and not usually expected to provide a full list of elements or differential diagnosis....
