*Study design: retrospective
*23 patients: 21 male – 2 female
*Mean age: 53 years (ranged from 24 to 78 years
*Recurrent inverted papilloma: 2 cases
*Previous surgical procedures in the sinunasal cavities: 0
*Signs and symptoms:
-Unilateral nasal obstruction (n=21)
-Rhinorrhea (n=9)
-Epistaxis (n=5)
*Average duration of signs: 2 years and half
*Endoscopic examination: lobulated (n=23), translucid (n=16), friable and often hemorrhages when manipulated (n=7) tumor
*Tumor location:
-Nasal wall (n=16)
-Maxillary sinus (n=5)
-Ethmoid complex (n=2)
*CT scan
-Performed in 20 patients
-Coronal and axial images
-Contrast enhanced CT in all patients
-Soft tissue and bone windowing
*MRI
-Performed in 16 patients
-Axial and coronal SE T2 and T1 weighted images
-Before and after Gadopentetate dimeglumine administration
