Results
From 2015 to 2018, 55773 women aged 50-69 were invited to participate to the program, and of these 18804 (33.7%) responded; a similar proportion (N=3,596, 34%) of 10552 invited women aged 45-49 responded.
In particular, in 2015, of 19052 invited women aged 50-69, 4996 (26%) responded while of 811 invited women aged 45-49, 453 (55,8%) responded. Conclusion
The excellent results of the Department of Senology of Caserta LHA District 12 were obtained through the so-called "small group strategy". To improve the compliance of the population, we involved micro- and macro-realities (General Practitioners, municipalities, communities, associations, parishes, cultural mediators) and provided awareness campaigns (#mivogliobene, #aslintour) in over 40 municipalities in the province of Caserta, through the use of mobile facilities for free visits and booking of first and/or second level exams.
